Warmer weather has finally arrived and with it comes plans to enjoy the campgrounds and recreational facilities in the Lake Red Rock area. Missouri River Energy Services (MRES), the builder of the Red Rock Hydroelectric Project (RRHP), reminds outdoor enthusiasts that the North Tailwater Recreation area and a section of the Volksweg bike path remain closed to the public until RRHP opens for commercial operation. The closures will ensure the safety of the public and workers still on site.

Progress through Partnerships. Missouri River Energy Services has always put its members first. We are committed to building and maintaining partnerships that collectively benefit and empower our members. When we were formed in the early 1960s, our mission was to help municipalities that operated their own electric systems to work together in planning for future power supply needs and solving other mutual problems. We have not wavered from this mission.
