Updates to Minnesota’s Distributed Generation Interconnection Standards, Docket 16-521
The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (MPUC) has established a Distributed Generation (DG) Workgroup to begin the process of establishing new Minnesota standards for the interconnection of DG facilities. The DG Workgroup will inform the development of recommendations for consideration by the full Commission as it transitions the Minnesota interconnection process to one based on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s Small Generator Interconnection Procedures. MRES is an active participant on the DG Workgroup.
