Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) has announced the promotion of Tammie Krumm to Vice President of Human Resources and Administration. Krumm’s position is part of an organizational restructure at MRES that creates a new department, splitting the human resources and administration functions from the previous Administration and Finance Department. Krumm will report directly to Tom Heller, president and CEO of MRES, effective Jan. 1, 2022.
Krumm joined MRES in 2017 as manager of human resources. She has more than 23 years of experience in human resources and risk management, including compensation and benefits design and administration, recruitment and retention, conflict resolution, career management and development, safety and risk management, union and non-union employee and labor relations, and policy administration. The majority of that time has been in the energy sector.
In her new role, Krumm will be responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of human resources, safety, records management functions, policies, and oversight of buildings and grounds.
Krumm is a current member of the Sioux Empire Society of Human Resources (SESHRM), the Center of Energy Workforce Development (CEWD) and the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).
Krumm earned her bachelor’s degree in agricultural business from South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota. She also holds her certification as a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
“I am very gratified that MRES has been working on succession planning and employee development over the past years to allow us to promote qualified staff into leadership roles," Heller said. “I look forward to Tammie joining my management team of vice presidents and congratulate her on this well-deserved promotion.”
