Photos from Public Power Week!

Below are some photos from member communities and MRES as we all celebrated Public Power Week!

At the HEART of everything you do!

Every year, during the first week of October, we come together to celebrate Public Power Week — a time to recognize the benefits of not-for-profit, community-owned electric utilities that power our homes, businesses and neighborhoods.

For our 61 municipal electric utility members, Public Power Week is the perfect opportunity to honor the local, dependable electric services that are “at the HEART of everything you do.” From jump-starting your morning routine to when you unwind at night reading bedtime stories, electricity powers your everyday life in ways you might not even notice. That’s even more reason for you to love public power!

What Public Power Means for You and Your Community:

  • More affordable
  • More reliable
  • Invested in your community
  • Local control
  • Local service
  • Community owned
  • Customer focused
